What A Wonderful World...

The magazine is screaming, "MEET MY BABY!"

But I prefer the more subtle title...the one just above their heads..."World's Most Beautiful People 2010."

Because I do find Sandra Bullock to be beautiful both inside and out. Witness:

*Her Academy Award acceptance speech=Class.

*The manner in which she's maintained her dignity during her husband's reported infidelity=Class.

*How she's rightfully guarded her privacy during what I'm certain is a very painful time in her life=Class.

*That she adopted this gorgeous child, without anyone knowing. At all. And that she's obviously been enjoying him...loving him...mothering him...for the past few months=Class.

Yes, Ms. Bullock. You are C-L-A-S-S-Y and I wish you nothing but the best.

Also...THAT BABY, y'all. He is altogether delicious. Let's discuss his name: Louis. Let's discuss that she adopted him from New Orleans.

I think you know where I'm headed with this. Louis is clearly a vampire.

No, not a blood sucker. Please. As if I'd say that about a precious wee one. No, a sucker of cute, as my friend Kelly (not the hater!) so eloquently described sweet baby Louis.

And if he's not a vampire, I hope he plays the trumpet when he grows up.

Okay, if I say what is really on my heart, then I think "Adoption is so easy for celebrities. They have money, that makes it go faster. And there is no way my agency would place a child in my home if I was going through a divorce. Not at all."

But that is just sour grapes cause I want a baby, too. And I do like Sandra Bullock a lot and wish her happiness, so I will get over my Grrrrrr right now and just comment on how really cute that baby is. And she does look thrilled. And every baby deserves to have a family. He's lucky.

Really, Lula, don't hate me!

No words to ad except I could not agree with you more on EVERY TOPIC! We are totally separated at birth.

Oh, the vampire connection. It made me spit my tea out in a fit of laughter.

Seriously. I need a baby like Louis in my life A to the SAP.

I <3 Sandra & totally agree. She handled this with such grace.

Only a religious snob would write a sweet post such as this.
You ought to be ashamed!

I seriously didn't think I could love Sandra Bullock more, and then she went all classy when the Jesse crap hit the fan. And then I thought I couldn't love her more, and she introduces this most beautiful child to the world.

She's so amazing. And I hope the report is true that she changed all the paperwork so that this became a single parent adoption instead of a married adoption. Because who would want Jesse anywhere near that baby after everything he did?

Oh, and wow. I didn't know it was legal for celebrities to adopt from THIS country.

He was adorable, wasn't he? But then I consumed him entirely, and now there is just a dribble of cute down my chin where Louis used to be. What has this baby done to me? *burp*

Might I add she looked mighty good with nothing on but a washcloth in The Engagement!

Not that I was looking that hard...or bought the DVD to see it again...I'm just saying.

I apologize for my male pigness.

I have loved Sandy ever since she romanced Tate Donovan in Love Potion #9. I have always thought she was a cool chic and she is definitely on my Great Big Backyard Barbecue list.

I feel so badly for her that her marriage has hit such a rough patch. I can totally understand the bad boy thing. They've got their appeal. And I had really, really hoped that he had cleaned up his stuff up for her. He seemed to have. But she has that unbelievably adorable baby to love now. I wish her nothing but the best.

What a lucky baby to have such a sweet mama. And he is just adorable, too. i think I'll put a little strawberry jam on him and eat him up!
On a closely related aside, I watched "The Blind Side" last night and I loved it.

For one, I'm enjoying Louis' necklace. For two, I'm loving the look he's giving the camera. As if to say...I'm Louis Bullock. I will be a famous vampire jazz musician. What of it?
